this song. it’s one of those songs that were just kind of being played in the background during the evening and i get all fluttery every time i hear it. even just the intro. nothing special even happened while it was playing. it just sums up my feelings for the whole night. then the car just going from so many people in it and being so loud and funny to it emptying out and being so completely quiet and comfortable. and just looking into the rear view mirror and at the stick shift. hands. and listening to whatever came on the speakers.
